Polyurethane rigid foams are widely used as insulation material for building, refrigeration systems, and transportation equipment. When rigid foam is formulated with high density, it has an excellent load bearing capacity. High-density closed-cell can be used in some load bearing applications.
Northstar Polymers works with manufacturers to develop a custom formulation, which serves specific application requirements. We can also provide raw chemical materials to formulate rigid foams such as polymeric MDI and polyols for larger consumers through our supply resources.
